Who am I?
Let me introduce myself: My name is Bianca Klakegg Guzmán. I am an accredited translator appointed by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and I offer sworn translations from English into Spanish. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Translation and Interpreting from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a Master’s Degree in Intercultural Communication and Translation in Public Services from Universidad de Alcalá.
Sworn translation services
I offer sworn translations from English into Spanish and vice versa. If you are applying for a student or work visa, if you need to translate your criminal records, birth/marriage certificates, etc. then you’ll need an official translation of such documents.
What is a sworn translation?
A sworn translation is an “official translation” carried out by a translator recognized by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Sworn translators can certify that their translation is true to the original document by affixing their stamp and signature to the translation.
In which format will you receive a sworn translation?
I always provide sworn translations in digital format. Since 2020, sworn translations may be presented in such a format. The final translation is a pdf file containing both the original document and the translation. All pages carry my stamp and signature, and the pdf is signed as well using an “electronic certificate”. If you need a hard copy, you may print out all pages and submit them to the corresponding Embassy/Consulate.
How long does it take?
If you just need a few documents (1-2 pages), you may receive your translation within 24-48 hours after confirmation. If you are applying for a student visa, translating your TOR and other academic documents will take about 3-4 days. When requesting a quotation, you will receive an exact date for delivery
How much does it cost?
My rates for 2026 are as follows: €0.12 / word. For quotations, please send a scanned copy of your documents to klakeggbianca@gmail.com and I’ll get back to you shortly with a quote and turnaround time.
How do I pay?
Payment may be done through bank transfer to a Spanish bank account or Paypal.
